Hypnosis to Facilitate Smoking Cessation

Hypnosis to Facilitate Smoking Cessation

This training program we’ll help clinicians explore how to integrate hypnosis with cognitive and behavioral techniques to help a client quit smoking. Topics explored in this program include how to reframe the smoking habit, prevent relapses, and how to make a customized script for the client based upon the client’s attitudes towards their smoking habit. Special emphasis will be placed on producing dissociation to help short-term withdrawal symptoms and post-session “homework” for long-term motivation & identity management.
